iOS 9 Low Power Mode testing

At Mondays WWDC, or the Worldwide Developers’ Conference, one of many things that Apple announced was the latest revision of its mobile operating system iOS 9.

iOS 9 is packed with a raft of new features, one of which specifically caught my eye. That’s the ‘Lower Power Mode’ setting which can be accessed through the all new ‘Battery’ menu option under the settings menu.

It’s fair to say I’ve been an iPhone fan ever since my very first iPhone 3GS (I skipped the 3!) and although I’ve never really found the battery life to be an issue, (mainly because I’m sat in front of a computer upwards of 12 hours a day) I have often willed that extra couple of hours out of my iPhone when out and about.. Now, being the ‘geek’ that I am, I always have a backup battery in my pocket. However, battery saving options like this are always more than welcome.  (more…)

If you are a follower of mine on Facebook or Twitter you will have seen my posts about my RAPId SMS application. Well, stage one of development is nearing completetion, and I nowneed people willing to BETA test the application.

If you are interested you are going to need:
A Windows PC (XPVista)
A Windows Mobile Device
Windows Mobile Device CenterActiveSync
