Netflix have announce plans to bring 4D Ultra quality “Breaking Bad” to their popular steaming service..
“Breaking Bad” is AMC TV’s critically-acclaimed series following Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) as they set off on an adventure producing crystal meth in the back of an RV camper van.
Netflix – perhaps one of the biggest online streaming services in the world have recently announced their plans to transmit the entire collection of “Breaking Bad” episodes in stunning 4K Ultra HD.
4D is 3,840×2,160 pixels Which equates to 4 times the quality of a HD picture (1,920×1,080 pixels).
“Breaking Bad” will be Joining “House of Cards” and “Moving Art” in the 4K TV series collection. This will compliment the current collection of movies (Smurfs 2,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Ghostbusters 2”) that are currently available to Netflix subscribers in the US.
This is a massive step in the right direction for the steaming media world, however as 4K is a very new technology, it’s unlikely many will be rushing to stream this content. It’s currently unclear how well the world-wide web connections will handle this load. However – it’s certainly a sign of things to come.
It has been confirmed that, although the 4K movies are currently only available in the US, “Breaking Bad” will in fact be available to UK Netflix subscribers – with the required hardware and an internet connection sporting at least a 15Mbps download speed. This was recently confirmed in a tweet from Joris Evers
Breaking Bad now streaming in Ultra HD 4K everywhere @netflix is available!
Rumours are also starting to circulate that next up to receive the Netflix 4k Ultra treatment are the popular shows “Orange is the New Black” and “Lillyhammer”
To enable 4K streaming from your Netflix account you will need to make sure your playback settings are set to ‘High’. To do this login to your Account, go to Account and then Playback Settings and then select High.
Make note of the text in this dialogue box, which confirms it will use up to 7GB per hour for Ultra HD streaming.

Spotify is a new way to enjoy music. Simply download and install, before you know it you’ll be singing along to the genre, artist or song of your choice. With Spotify you are never far away from the song you want.
There are no restrictions in terms of what you can listen to or when. Forget about the hassle of waiting for files to download and fill up your hard drive before you get round to organising them. Spotify is instant, fun and simple.
Because music is social, Spotify allows you to share songs and playlists with friends, and even work together on collaborative playlists, Friday afternoon in the office might never be the same again! We’re music lovers like everyone else.
We want to connect millions of people with their favorite songs by creating a product that people love to use. We respect creativity and believe in fairly compensating artists for their work. We’ve cleared the rights to use the music you’ll listen to in Spotify.”
