K33n Team working on iOS 9 Jailbreak

K33n TeamThe elite Chinese hacking group K33n Team (aka Keen Team) have announced that they are already working hard on a jailbreak for iOS 9, and hope to have it ready to release just days after the official iOS 9 release.

Liang Chen has been talking to Forbes reporters about their work on breaking 9, however they have highlighted how difficult they expect iOS 9 to be to jailbreak. Especially with iOS 9’s new ‘rootless’ security feature, which is rumoured to feature heavily in both OS X and iOS.

The Keen Team are a group of 12 elite hackers who, on the 13th of November, explioted Apple iOS 7.0.3 Safari within 30 seconds… Bagging them a haul of $30k! So it’s fair to say, if anyone can do it, they can!

Jailbreaking still divides the iOS user base, with some, itching to get more functionality from their devices.. Whilst others much prefer the safety and security of the solid Mobile OS.

Currently the only version of iOS with Jailbreaks available is 8.1.2, despite countless teams working on exploits for iOS 8.3 and 8.4 (due for public release on June the 30th).
