Sourceforge attacked

Sourceforge have blogged that they two suffered the same fate as the
recently compromised Gawker media sites.

They’ve discovered evidence of directed attempts to steal their
subscriber’s passwords.

This attack seems to be getting more and more common on sites across the
web which proves that having the same password for all of your
sites/computers/logons is a very bad idea.

I recently blogged about a recommended solution for remembering
passwords and keeping them all random letters and numbers, you can read
more about lastpass here.

Check out SourceForges blog for more information about their recent attack.
