This car is…simply put, is cram packed full of gadgets and tech. All be it all useful stuff in it’s own right, someone really has grabbed a whole host of buttons and thrown them at the dash, the steering wheel and steering column.
Granted, it’s a nice drive. Once I’d finally managed to configure the car to work nicely with my phone, and Carly managed to configure the Sat Nav whilst I drove home, I knew I was onto a winner. Setting the cruise control on such a new car can always be complex and this one was no different.
After pushing a plethora of buttons I took my foot off the accelerator, the only result was the speed started to drop. What I had actually done was set the speed limiter which proved much fun as it dragged me to an almost holt in pretty exciting style…Red flashing warning lights lit up my dash!
After I managed to swap this to the cruise control, the car quite happily raced back up to 70MPH as I hit the motorway.
All was going well until a new roundabout at Bracknell completely vexed the built in Sat Nav unit, sending me sailing off in the wrong direction.
Overall the car’s not overly bad. But I don’t think i’ll be rushing out to buy one.
