For many years I have been feeding my passion for knowledge and learning by excelling is as many programming languages I can get my hands on, some of the ones I am ‘fluent’ in are VBA, vb.net, HTML, PHP and Java. One that’s always been up there on my list of languages to learn is C#, however, time has always been a constraint for me…However, thanks to Jason Lim this might be about to change. Jason has recently launched a native OS X app to help teach the basics of C#.
The app covers topics such as:
- What is a Computer Program?
- A First C# Application
- Components of a C# Application
- Variables
- Input and Output
- Operators
- Type Casting
- Selection – If Else & Switch
- Scope of Variables
- String Comparison
- Loops – While, For, Do-While
- Arrays
- Arrays – Traversal
- Methods
- Methods Calling
- Modularizing a program using Methods
- Objects
- Objects – Constructor
- Objects – Sending Messages
The app was written by beginners for beginners.
You can download the app from the Mac App store
