Doom (Arriving 2016)

DOOM_(4)_teaser_trailer_splash_screen_logoIt’s not due out till 2016, and already critics are dubbing it as being stacked out with unneeded violence and gore.. Bethesda launched previews of Doom’s gameplay last night at this years E3 conference.. Doom is now in its 4th revision of the fast selling game from id Software, and is destined for Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Doom is set to feature a singleplayer mode, in addition to multiple multiplayer modes which include traditional four-player domination, freeze tag, and clan arena.

New to the Doom games is the Doom SnapMap which will enable users to create custom maps to share with friends and the online community!

First released all the way back in 1993 (I know!! Makes you feel old doesn’t it) Doom has seen several revisions on different platforms. The new one, however, seems worlds away from previous releases!

Check out the gameplay video below..

Doom was one of the very early pioneers of painfully realistic in-game violence and detail. Which divides the masses, despite countless studies done to prove/disprove the link between in-game violence and real world violence, some still believe games are to blame!

Lets hope no gun manufactures decide to start building/selling the weaponry seen in the above clip!
