Clear Type

If you’re anything like me, you will get annoyed that your font on Windows is a little bleary or blurred. It drives me insane, especially when you have a laptop which needs re-installing every 5 minutes :@ (Thanks to Mike Hudson for being my personal IT helpdesk), and you can never remember where it is to change the settings.
So to help myself & everyone else who may need to find it, I thought I’d blog about it. Please find below a step by step guide on how to do it:
  • Go to your desktop
  • Right Click > Personalize
  • Click Effects
  • Tick the box which states ‘Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:’ and change the drop down box to ‘ClearType’
  • Click OK
  • Click Apply
