Boxcar for Mac is the new variant of the popular iOS instant notification application, bringing together updates from a wide range of services including Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz and even your RSS feeds all under one roof, and now under one roof on both your iOS and OS X devices. Whats more – boxcar’s developers are hard at work on an Android version too!
If you are a subscriber of twitter, Facebook and all the countless other social networking sites you will know how much of a bind it is to have to check all the various locations for updates.
With the Boxcar app, you can set up different notifications for each service, and with a large collection of built in sounds you couldn’t ask for more!
If you’d prefer to remain ‘cloud’ based, the Boxcar site also offers the same ‘all under one roof’ idea, with a neat and tidy interface.
