Resco have recently released it’s latest version of it’s flag ship photo manager. Resco photo manager is a feature rich image viewing and manipulation application for Windows Mobile, Palm OS, Symbian s60 and Symbian UIQ. It feature all the standard things you would hope to find in any mobile based photo manager.
It also includes some features which are far beyond standard, and that really do set it apart from the rest:
- Touch optimised with gestures – unlike most apps that require intricate plucking with your stlyus, Photo Manager has been optimised to make is as user friendly as possible, supporting many touch gestures to help you get the job done!
- Upload abilities – As social networking seems to be this years answer to TV, it would be daft not to include this feature.. Direct from the app you have the ability to upload to the most common networks. (Flikr, Facebook, Picasa and Twitter)
- Quick image access – as you can see from the screenshot Photo Manager’s homepage includes 4 shortcuts to the main image databases. Making navigation a breeze.
- GPS Data – Photo Manager enables you to add GPS information to your picture collection.
- Editing Tools – Built in resize, crop, color corrections, attach drawings and more!
- Slideshow – View your entire collection as a slideshow
- Add to contact – easy way of adding photo’s to contact records.

Version 7.00 (released on the 2nd of december 09) boasts quite a large list of feature enhancements from previous versions, including:
- Touch friendly user interface

- Rotation, navigation and zoom gestures
