Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the latest version of my site. As with previous incarnations of the site, this version is here to stay! (at least for now anyway)
For those of you who know me, I have now been working for Arco in Hull for 6 months now. Along with all the expirience I have learnt from supporting such an imense network and complex setting of terminal servers and thin clients. I have also gained many php development skills. Thanks to the helpdesk system I have been developing.
This, along with the hunger to publish my work on the world wide web has led to my latest and perhaps greatest site to date. As always the site is built on the famous Joomla content management system. With a template from RocketTheme customised to suit my needs.
As you have may have noticed the site features all of the usual things you would expect from one of my sites.
- An overflowing downloads section.
- A blog of my daily ramblings
- A photo gallery
- A long list of network tools
- A collection of arcade games
- A forum
- A collection of tutorials
And finally, with thanks to ‘click once’ technology I have now started publishing all of my .NET projects in BETA stages. Confident in the knowledge I will be easily able to update them at the click of my mouse.
As I have learnt from my mistakes in the past, and the countless number of hours I have spent rebuilding site after site.. I have backup procedures in place right now.. So no matter what, this site will be here until at least 2010!
